Give 19-year-olds legal right to drink

As a matter of fairness, without really compromising public and personal safety, the legal drinking age in America should be lowered from 21 to 19. It is often said -- but it really is true -- that if a young man or young woman is old enough to fight and possibly die for their country, they're old enough to have a drink. By this logic, we could advocate dropping the legal drinking age even lower -- to 18 -- but too many 18-year-olds are still in high school, which creates another set of issues.
